Volunteers

Without you there would be no event

Participating in the ASML Halve van Veldhoven, but not running yourself? Come help as a volunteer! We offer our volunteers a super fun experience at a running event, where professionalism and conviviality are paramount.

The day depends on the help of our volunteers! Are you hands-on and eager to support us? Check the  key points   and choose how you’d like to be involved in our organisation.

Only individual volunteers can register via the button. Groups can register using the button in the block below.

Join in with your club or scout group to help out together

Of course, you can also volunteer with your group, club, or scout troop. As organisers, we do our best to assign the group to a shared task whenever possible. Together, you can help make this event a great success.

A few examples of tasks during the event include handing out bib numbers, distributing medals, manning the bike parking, and staffing the refreshment stations.

Key points

There are a few rules associated with volunteering. Please read the guidelines below carefully before signing up!

  • The minimum age for volunteers at the ASML Marathon Eindhoven is 16 years (for traffic controllers this is 18 years).
  • If an instruction evening is given for your position, you will automatically receive an invitation. Make sure you are present;
  • Always follow the instructions you are given carefully.
  • PLEASE NOTE: Volunteers do not receive any compensation for their time or travel expenses.
  • Voluntary does not mean without obligation. Once you’ve signed up, we count on your commitment. If you fail to show up without informing us, it will negatively impact our organisation.

Please keep in mind that...

  • You may not be assigned to the role of your first choice. In such cases, we will consider your second choice or look for another suitable role.
  • You may not always have the opportunity to watch the event yourself. Some volunteer positions do not offer a direct view of the event.
